Wing
When working on my first movie, a friend told me about Wing. I immediately spoke with her about including her cover of The Carpenters' Close to You. Years later, I asked her to do a duet with me?Suddenly, Seymour from Litle Shop of Horrors. With some reluctance, she agreed, and I ended up putting together the backing tracks for her future covers.
When working on Wing's 12th album, Breathe, I was able to select a few of the tracks. She let me pick a couple of my favorites, but mostly we worked with tracks fans had suggested. Some were obscure and some were well known, but Wing picked them based on how she liked their sound.
After Breathe, we worked on a few AC/DC tracks, a song by a fan, a song by myself (another take on the theme to my show Feelings), the next album (featuring many Disney favorites and a new duet), and her concert debut in America at Cafe du Norde in San Francisco.
